Check out www.uprproducts.com
They have billets for man HVAC on GM trucks. With some modification they can be made to work fine on C5's. Basically you have to drill the hole out slightly to get rid of the "D" shape, re-install the little spring steel "D" insert 180 degrees different from the way they come installed then epoxy it back in. Next, the the "shoulders" or "stops" on the rear of the ***** have to be narrowed a little in order to fit into the "windows" behind the *****. These determine how far right or left the ***** are allowed to turn. A drill, a Dremel, some epoxy and a little time are all that's needed. Of course once modified, the ***** are non-returnable.
I like mine. I got the ones with the blue lens inserts. They go good with my billet shifter **** and parking brake handle.

I e-mailed UPR Products and told them how my modifications would allow them to offer the three ***** for C5's with manual HVAC. Even gave specifics on dimensions etc. No response. Nada.

Look closely at your factory ***** and take a couple of measurements if necessary. When removing the material from the "shoulders", be sure to take an equal amount from each side. Done properly, this will allow the "pointer end" (the end with the lens) to point correctly at the marks on the HVAC unit when the **** is rotated all the way to the left or all the way to the right. Also, when re-installing the little spring steel insert in the hole on the back, make sure and only use a very very small amount of epoxy and let dry. You don't want any epoxy oozing out into the hole itself and making the hole too small to fit onto the shaft or worse, epoxying the **** onto the shaft. Then you wouldn't be able to remove the ***** in the future as it would be bonded to the shaft. Take your time, use a little common sense and check you work as you go. It's really not as hard as it may sound here. HTH

Unfortunately, for me, I don't have a digi cam. You can however go to upr website and look at the ***** on some GM trucks. Their HVAC control head panel display is identical to the C5 with manual HVAC. HTH

UPR's 1997-2004 C-5 Corvette Billet A/C **** kit is the one of the cleanest billet kits you can add to your Corvette's interior.

These new additions to our billet line are just the beginning of many items to come for the 97-04 Corvette interior.

Our new A/C ***** have an illumination hole to ensure proper position in day or night.

Think I prefer the smooth ssinserts version.

The only problem, as I see it, is that the ***** being offered for the C5's are for the automatic HVAC control panels (two **** set). Without modifying them, the other ***** offered for the GM trucks will not work on C5's with manual HVAC (three **** set).
