Hi Judy
First of all I will say a prayer and keep a good thought. I have a little experience with kidney rejection so I thought I would share this story to keep your hopes up. My neighbor’s son had to have his kidney transplanted and his father stepped up and did the right thing by donating his he was only a 6 point match but they went ahead and did the transplant. It lasted about 18 months then back to dialysis. Anyway he was going for about 2 months when a 10 point match became available. So be patient, Have hope, and never give up. I know that it looks really bad right now but miracles can and do happen everyday, with hope and prayer you will find your miracle also
Best Wishes
Tom
I too was bitten by a tick, at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, and came down with Tick Born Relapse Fever. It is a rare disease that was diagnosed by the CDC in Atlanta Georgia. I got really sick and felt as if I were going to die. There were 6 documented cases, of which there were 2 fatalities and 2 others with stroke-like symptoms: this disease has a 20% rate of fatality; it was exceeded in this episode. This occurred 15 years ago and I have a 4 year-old, healthy, son. I have recovered all normal function (there are those that claim otherwise ), and all is good with my health. There is hope, and my hope is with you and your father.
