Did you use an Al gore calculator The base price on a 2005 Viper is $81,500 and $43,700 for the Vette, that is a difference of $37,800. I can think of lots of cars I take over the Viper.
My neighbor is 26 years old and drives a brand new 2004 SRT everyday, rain or shine. It was over $90k out the door. My 2004 coupe with the discounts was less than $40k out the door. With $5-8k you can mod a Vette to outperform a Viper. Just look at the ALMS. Where were the VIPERS? Trying to catch the C5R's.
Why did ford have to put their logo (emblem) on the nose of the GT?
That looks sooooo tacky (IMO)!!!!
None the less, I like it........but I LOVE my vette!!!
