Not something I would do, but I guess the LS1 badges would be OK if that's what you want. Definitely would not do the Z06 badges though.

I have red Z06 badges that say 500hp. They are on my Z06 that does have 500hp though

I would do it to a supercharged or modded car if it reflected what the car had correctly.

My opinion is such that sticking a badge on a car where there is suppose to be none is plain stupid. Forgive me for saying so, no flame intended at all.
There are millions and millions of people all over this world doing something stupid as I type this post, I doubt any of them are being charged $198.00 for their endevour.
