Does this ever happen to other folks?
I had the exact same thing happen to me after returning from a nice dinner with my wife. Originally I thought someone had thrown something into the windshield. I guess I was just thankful it wasn't any worse. It's a shame and one of the reasons I don't drive it as much as I would like to.

Man - sorry to hear this!

If I ever caught the low life, piece of pond scum doing something like this they would have to worry about getting their nourishment through a straw for quite a while.

Some scum bag here at work took a big wad of chewing gum and smeared it all over the rear fender of my car a couple of months ago. So it doesn't have to be in a public parking lot or at night. Happened to me in a fairly heavily traveled private lot that we own.

I'm sorry this happened to you......

As Zilla says, people have no respect. The problem is they're envious, because they have no self respect. The lack of common courtesy is a growing problem in our society.

Date seemed to go fine, altho the whole drive home i had to look through the spit. This was only a second date. I was parked in one of Universals HUGE parking garages after the parks were closed and i was way out parked all alone, so nothing would happen. Thanks for your responces, and i know exactly how pissed some of you must have been after reading your stories.

This is a small example of the sad state of affaires this society is comming to.
I remember Orlando BD (before Disney) when you didn't even need to LOCK your car, now I'm afraid to take it out of the garage.i

Happened to me when i first got my vette. I had just washed and waxed it. Ran up to Home Depot. Parked at the end of the parking lot. Ran inside, but didn't feel comfortable leaving my car parked there, so ran back out to my car. I had only been gone about a minute. In that time, someone had poured a coke all over the hood and windshield. Sometimes people su*k.

I am pissed sitting here right now just thinking about that story

Thankfully I have not had to experience this first hand, but usually get snickers and snid comments once in a while. And your right, its usually the parents. I park far away from everyone else in public parking lots (NEVER taking more than one spot though) and when walking away from the car I had someone say to me: 'I guess your car is too good to park with the rest of the public.' I repsonded, 'no, just that until the general population learns to respect other peoples property i have to protect my own'. Needless to say, the guy just gave me a stupid look and walked away.

Sometimes no matter how far i park someone will feel the need to park in the spot RIGHT NEXT TO ME!!!! I don't care if its a viper, ferrari, maybach benz....i took the time to park away from everyone else so at least use some common courtesy and leave a spot or 2 between. off

Well put. It's discusting and the bad thing about it is there's not much anyone can do about it. Society has to change and to affect someone from doing things such as this I don't think we'll see it in our life time. Sorry to hear it happened but at least it wasn't an egg. They do a lot of damage. Merry Christmas and let it go. Not worth ruining your day for this type of crap.

Never had it happen to mine, but there are always those people out there that are just idiots. No respect for other people's property.
