I was on a date this evening. And we went to a movie at Universal Studios, when we got back to my car this evening somebody hocked a few lugeys on it! I'm a little pissed....
Does this ever happen to other folks?
That's just wrong. Unfortunately some people will never know the feeling of driving an expensive car so they look down on those of us that have succeeded in life and have. Let me catch some one doing that and they'll be coughing up blood instead of flem

Happened to me the first time I drove my car to work. Found out later that some kids (I teach high-school) thought that it belonged to a student and they were driving "daddy's car" to school.
Word is out that it is a faculty car and it has been left completely alone since then. Luckily, I can keep an eye on it from my classroom.
That loogie on your car could have easily been lots worse...

Sory about that...its just trailer park mentality...jealous losers who will never have a vette..just wash it off and forget about it...
Happened to me one time at an IHOP, I came out and some one had spit right in the middle of my hood, needless to say I was
but eventually I convinced myself just to be thankful they didn't do something worse
Generally this is just kids, but you are lucky that the fix is a car wash. The human nature factor of greed and being jealious of a car owner make some people jerks.
Sorry to hear Bro. Unfortunately, there are some scum bags around like that.
Happened to me once about 10 years ago. Pretty disgusting, the person must have had a severe sinus condition . I was only away from the car for about 10 minutes.
The same thing happened to me twice in one day. The first happened as I was making a left turn onto a street that was backed up. My butt was sticking out a bit and the a@#hole behind me wanted to go straight even though there were signs all over the place marking the left being a "left only" lane. When he finally, got around me, he spit on my vette and cursed at me. At that moment, I felt like chasing after him but then I realized, with people like that, it just wasn't worth it. Besides, I would have had to make some pretty risky maneuvers to back up and it wasn't worth getting into an accident. Later on that day, I stopped by the supermarket to pick up a gallon of milk and I noticed some little kids on their bikes at the end of the parking lot. As I went into the supermarket, they drove past me and said "nice vette". I thanked em and went inside. I knew I should've gone back but I just needed to go in and out to get the milk. When I came back, bingo, they had spit on my windshield. All this happened on one lousy day but I tried my best not to let it bother me. I had a great day cruising around in my baby and other than those two incidents, it was another perfect vette day. Thankfully, spit cleans up quickly and I have enough zaino on there to protect the paint. Still, its sickening how jealous people can be when they see someone else who has something nice. It just burns them up inside and that's just sad.
