I used a product called Folia Tec (available from Xtreme Motorsports). This stuff is epoxy based and dries hard as a rock. I've had mine painted for over three years now and the calipers still look like new.

This is a project for me within the next week or so.....I'll probably use Glenn's technique - Rustoleum and a brush. From what I understand the key is getting the calipers real clean with brake cleaner and then Simple Green before painting....

Was thinking of PC'ing mine with Eastwood's DIY PC kit... $90 for the kit, and might come in handy for other things as well... Anyone used this?

Looks like the key is to clean off brakes real good. Also, tape everything up to prevent overspay (if spaying). BTW has anybody found a suitable red paint to match the AE red? I want to do this mod real bad!!

One more choice:

http://www.duplicolor.com/products/caliper.html

Now it's easy to get one of the hottest looks around, painted brake calipers, with Dupli-Color's Caliper Paint Kit. The complete kit includes Caliper Cleaner, Caliper Paint, brush, stir stick masking tape and instructions. Four cool colors to highlight your calipers. Caliper Paint goes on with the supplied brush so there is no need to remove the calipers to paint.

Does the caliper paint have to be special high temp paint? If not, then the factory spay paint from the dealer would work.

You do NOT need special high temp paint. The calipers do NOT get hot under normal driving.
