Exotic Vette Sound Insulation System
I've read most of the threads on the extensive do-it-yourself insulation projects. Very impressive but beyond my technical capabilities. I was looking at the Exotic partion for my '03 Vert and saw their insulation system. Has anyone installed one (both front and back or either) and how well does it seem to work?

I'm sure theirs works just fine. But if you can install theirs, you could do your own with Frost King, Dynamat Supreme, or something else. Theirs is pre-cut, but all you'd need to use your own materials is a standard utility knife, and maybe some adhesive if whatever you use doesn't already have it.
Even if you use the pre-cut kit, you'll have to remove carpets and the seats.

Seriously, though, we also include full install instructions and how-to's with pics to do the removal of the interior (seats, carpet, etc)

This is any important advantage if you have never pulled the whole interior out of your car. Divide the cost by the time spent (and potential extra time spent with a DIY job) along with the excellent fit of Dan's package and make your own value decision. I'm certainly not against DIY work, but personally chose not to with this upgrade. Just my .02

Thanks for the comments; very much appreciated. I sold my '99 to a guy who owns an auto/marine upholstry shop...he does a lot of custom work. I think I will see if he'd like to do my '03 for a reasonable price, so he can compare the before and after on my car. Unfortunately (for me) I had just put Michelin P/S on the one I sold him. That waa a real step forward in noise reduction.
Crazy C5, I'm going to call y'all anyway. I tried to order the 'Vert partition from your website but it wouldn't allow me to select the one with carpet on both sides. Nor did I see how to pick the color of carpet I wanted. You might check the website...or maybe I just pushed some wrong buttons.

I like to get all three product but short of funds. I just spent serious $$ on Christmas and a trip back to USA to see my family. Hope the sale price will last a little longer than the end of Dec. If not, I'll have to wait for the next one. I'm not sure if I can install the insulation but was willing to give it a try. My interior near the front left leg tunnel gets hot in the summer. I think the insulation will help reduce the heat. Just looking at the picture on the web of having to tear the interior apart is scary.

Sports - Also, the heat from the console on your leg will be gone with this kit. I too had this issue and if there's any heat there now it's not noticable to me at all, the stuff is AMAZING for the heat reduction there.
Don't sweat the install, everyone I've done it for AND the guys who do it themselves will tell you that with the instructions that include pics and a few simple hand tools (tells you which in the instructions too) the install is VERY EASY, just takes a few hours. Figure if you start in the morning, you'll be cruising around that day with it done for sure.
