I am glad you posted this. I have a Pewter coupe and have been contemplating the ss inserts for some time now. I thought they would look classy but was a little skiddish about the excess bling factor. But I think I am sold on them now. I respect the opinions of you guys here. Are the ss inserts flush or do they stick out a little. I thought I saw something somewhere that stated they were flush but I've seen others that look like they protrude out from the body. I think flush would be best. Thanks.
Rear only. On the front I have an Halltech screened open intake fitted to the Halltech Trap. I figure its better looking and adds more horsepower than SS inserts.

All the ones I've seen are flush or slightly below flush. I just wish that $45 sale would return for the rears!
Just installed my front and rear...I LOVE THEM!!!! Only bad thing is the directions say to wait at least 72 hours before washing/waxing so I have to deal with the fingerprints I left on them and the primer that I had to apply prior to the inserts. I wasn't very neat and now I have primer on the outside of the indents. I never could color between the lines
