Porsche Boxster S gets a Kill!
Driving down a nice smooth curvy four lane near my house today. I'm a bit over the limit but well within the boundaries of safety and sanity. Cruising quick and having fun.
Along comes this Boxster S beside me. He hovers on my left and gasses it. Gets a few lengths out in front and slows down until I catch up. Does it again and slows down again for me. Finally, he shows me his tail lights for good and flies off a good 20-30 mph over the limit.
Me? I'm in a residential area. There are kids on bikes around and people coming out of driveways and side streets. There is NO way I'm racing someone there. Guess he gets a kill to write about on the "Porsche Forum" tonight. That's okay. I can live with it.

Good man Jack.
Why bother with some little porsche when you KNOW what your car can do?

Little did he know that you gave him a nice Christmas present.....
...and you did good to not let him drag you into a race in that neighborhood. Good show!

Good call, that wouldn't be a race even in the right area. What's the guy thinking? probably a masochist.

Great patience...
Now when you see him on a deserted road out in the middle of nowhere, with nobody else within 10 miles, let's hear part 2 of this story...

Suffice to say a Boxster S is less capable than a stock C4, much less a C5 and not even in the same universe as a Z06 or C6. Poor guy has visions of owning a real Porsche but obviously not the moola so let him have his thrill - it's still never going to be a Vette!!

Yup, I agree.. as much as I like to show up other cars...especially Porsche's, there's a time and place to do so.
Smart move Jack.
