28mpg! anybody else?
My DIC registered 28mpg driving from Hesperia back to La Habra.
Cruzin at 70mph, 6th gear, tacking under 1500rpm's, anybody else get this kinda milage?
My car is bonestock, so I'm pretty stoked!
How accurate is that reading? Anybody get more?

On a 2800 mile trip from Central Texas to Las Vegas to Phonex and back resulted in 29mpg. And that was on a new car that had only 900 miles on it at the start of the trip. Once it is fully broken in the mpg should be better.

I normally average about 28.5 mpg in the '03 MN6 vert running around 78 mph on the highway with A/C on. The best I have done is 31.1 mph running under similar conditions.

My best was 31 mpg on an afternoon cruise out to the coast with my A4 2.73's doing just above the speed limit.

Ive seen 33 mpg on the very flat atlantic city expressway on an early spring evening evening, many times.
I get 27/28 on the same stretch in winter with oxygenated gas.

The most amazing thing about these cars is the gas mileage they return! You will blow non-Corvette people's minds when you tell that!
I got 29.7mpg average on my trip from Chicago to Phoenix cruising mostly in 6th at 85mph.

On the long trips I have taken in my car, it has registered up to 33 mpg. Most of the time it gets between 29 and 31 mpg. Not bad for a car with its capabilities. I think it is fairly accurate - maybe a tad on the high side but close enough.

I make 600 miles each week and get 28 mpg in the 97 coupe A4 with moderate mods (torque converter and 3.42 gears).
31 mpg in the 98 MN6 verts.
18 mpg in the Grand Cherokee
Put a blackwing or another intake mod and I bet you hit that 30 mpg mark
