Poptops just saved me $800. I'll burn a CD with all the exhaust tunes and put a couple large speakers under the rear end. WOW If I want Borla, I just play that CD. GhL"s, Corsa, there are so many to choose from. My wife would just crap!

I personally would not do it. I would think that the partition would make the wind more of an issue and I agree, it would not be the best in terms of being able to hear the stereo.

So, no. Your idea is not nuts.
I have sheet of Lexan sitting the garage for just this same idea. I'm gonna drill four LED's in the bottom as well. Good luck with yours.

I think somebody is going to end up going to a WHOLE lot of trouble, measuring, trimming, fitting and they're finally going to get themselves a beautiful clear partition.
Then they're going to shut the trunk and blow the thing through the windshield.
Thanks Mr. Lope,
Oh yea of little faith. The thought of it flying through my windshield.
I'll just never open the hatch again.
One thing I did not consider though.
Also didn't think about the fact that the Lexan is pewter coated and it could act like a big mirror to the cars behind me.
We take enough chances by driving our babies around morons that park on our rear facia, perhaps I don't need to blind them too.
But..........what if you drilled or cut some holes near the speakers to let the sound through (and decompress the area when the hatch is shut)??????
Jeeze maybe I better get another plan. Don't want to look like a New York taxi.
Perhaps I should just do it, drill the holes, and call myself Abdule Mahamhead.
