hey all,
My name is mike, and I LUV Vettes. Why do some Vettes have that side trim molding while others of the same year do not?

BSM = body side moulding. And it's a personal choice. Some like it and some think it ruins the clean lines. But yes, it was just an available option. Zuti Welcome and enjoy the forum... if you need to know something, somebody here will know the answer.

It is! BSMs are part of the grocery getter parking lot protection package. I think it only comes with the A4s and 2.73s.

I have the A4 and the 2.73 and the BSM so I can't disagree. My opinion is that the car looks better with them.

My previous C5 (97) was A4 and it didn't have BSM and I always wished that it did.

do not have BSM......wished I did, but if I had them, I would be wishing I did not....
