Hello, I am new to the forum, I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I recently bought a new 04, triple black, 6-speed vert. It is a dream come true. It's tucked away for the Canadian winter(live in Toronto), so this forum is as close to my car as I can get. It's too cold to go in the garage and stare at the cover, although I have done it. Anyway, this forum has an abundance of great info, and it's members seem curtious, as well as knowledgable. Here is a pic of the toy.
Happy holidays!

From one trip blk owner to another.....Welcome to the Forum. We share a common problem with the winter storeage. Happy New Year and heres hoping for an early Spring.......
Welcome!! You'll find this site addicting! And watch your wallet - the mod virus will attack when you least expect it!
My car is down for the winter too - counting the days till spring.
Try making it down for the Cruise-In in Bowling Green the weekend before Memorial Day.
Only dedicated people have black Corvettes. You HAVE to be dedicated to put up with what it takes to keep it looking good!
Welcome to the Forum.
I totally agree, dust, swirls, clearcoat scratches....I won't even mention how bad dents look. But when it's clean..ahhh...stealth mode. At night....black ice. Spring seems so far away.
Congrats and welcome! Your triple black is indeed a beauty. Mods??
Yep, just one so far, a halltech stinger. Apparantly I just missed a sale, doesn't matter though, got a good deal. Plan on lowering next spring. Then I guess exhaust is next, followed by..... is this that mod addiction starting?
3x,
I share your pain for winter driving as I live in Michigan. However, it is NEVER TOO COLD to go to the garage and stare!!!
I just bought a 97 Red C5 coupe and had the pleasure of driving it for a month before going up on blocks, wished I'd done this years ago!
I go to the garage hourly and stare!!!
Best wishes for a quick winter so you can enjoy your new toy!!
Rob
Since you can't drive it now, you'll have plenty of time to go ahead and get some of those mods put on. Then she'll be ready for spring. Good looking ride and welcome to the forum.
