Based on great forum information & recommendations I ordered my bullets last week and can't wait for the big brown truck to arrive. Got the quad 3.5" bullseyes!

Thanks again to Jeff & Brian!
Ordered the same ones last week before the year end special went away. I think you and I will be the only 2 with bullseyes...
No Bullseye's for me... My Bullets have 3.5" Rounds.
They're worth the wait! Enjoy 'em! Mine is on anotherwise stock A4, with NO X-Pipe, and the rumble is great! Skip the X initially, and add it later if you need to adjust the tone. Without it, the rumble sounds good. An X would smooth that out.
IMO, my Borla 2-tip Stingers are the coolest looking and sounding exhaust ever made, but everyone is different. My advice is go to a local club meet and see and hear what you like...
When I was researching exhaust for my 04 vette, Flowmaster did not make an after cat exhaust system, but they did have mufflers. I purchased the Borla Stingers with quad round tips. BB, GHL, Corsa, Borla, Bassini, all make after cat systems and it comes down to what sound you like. Because of the expense i would go to a couple of Corvette events and listen to the different sounds, most owners are more than happy to startum up so you can hear them. My .02 worth. Good Luck on your search
I'm in search of an exhaust system as well...I want something that sounds powerful but without the drone at higher speeds.
Gentlemen, please let me know what you think of the GHLs once you get them installed and drive around a bit.
Thanks.
Powerful = GHL's. 5 of us drove about 125 miles on New Year's Day. I've had my GHL Bullets for about 7 weeks now. First of all, the stock exhaust has a drone that you mentioned. NEVER does the GHL reach the levels of stock resonance. On mine, there is some drone right at 55mph, but not at 54mph or 56mph. At 60mph, you hear the runflats, and the valvetrain under the hood - not the exhaust. If you want to hear it, you mash on the gas pedal. At idle, it rumbles deeply, and is louder than my neighboring Borla's and Corsa's. (They have X-Pipes, I don't. Their idle sounds good, but is smooth and quiet.)
I'm amazed that an exhaust can sound that darned good, then transform itself for cruising the highway. Great upgrade! I'm glad I listened to my fellow forum members and bought the GHL Bullets!

Quad 4" GHL Magnums here...like my 6 year old says. "They Rock Daddy"
It depends on what you are looking for. I have Corsa Pace Cars on my wifes 98 and they are nice with a mellow sound and very little internal noise. On my 01 Z I have B&B PRT's (Bullets weren't out yet). The car has headers, random high flow cats and 3" all the way. Very aggressive sound but that is what I wanted. You can go the B&B web site and you can hear the sound of their systems. I have American Thunder on my Mustang race car and it gives a nice mellow 60's sound.

If you want some noise, go with the Borla Stingers. I personally don't like my car all that loud, so I went with the B&B Route 66 with quad oval tips. Exhaust is really a matter of personal taste. My recommendation would be to find some other Vette owners who have aftermarket exhausts on their cars and ask them to let you listen to the sound.
