With all that horsepower you will gain with the PTK TT, you will probably need to tub and get some serious wide rims. Keep us posted on your project. BTW are you going with 382 engine?
Think real hard before you buy wheels.
1. 18" rears have many tires to get some traction.
2. I have 19"X12 and the car tubbed but no real tires yet to pull it off(I hope with the new Z06 being a 19X12 we will see different tire options)
3. If you think you may do BIG Brakes latter make sure they will clear.
With my set up I have to wait till there are some DR or ET made.
I think the motosport C6 wheels look really good. I used to think it was lame to put newer model wheels on earlier version cars. But the truth of the matter is the C6 is nothing more than an upgraded C5. It is hardly a different car when you compare the differences between a C5 and C4. The platforms are the same, the motors even swap in and out. So to put the C6 wheels on the C5 is no different (to me) than it was when people were putting the 2000 model year 5 spokes on their 97-99s (replacing the wagon wheels). I heard the same thing from the BMW crowd but realized that they were just insecure stupid people making those comments. If it looks good, fits good, performs good, than it is good. Just my not so humble opinion. You won't get traction regardless of which setup you choose either...traction is going to be determined by your right foot and brain.

i have a set of M/T new drag radials on 17" wagons when i go out stauking
i will run nittos r11. i dont think that running nitto drag will make a difference and that is why i am thinkin' about going to new rims. i know that they dont make'm in 19" but serouisly what 's the difference between nitto drag and nitto r11???

IMO the 18/19 combo is one of the best looking for the C5... you get the lowered look without having to lower the car.. So whatever wheels you get... go with that size.
