Most Informative thread ever.....
I just read an absolutely incredible post that was buried in another thread. The problem is that there are a lot of us that don't frequent the C5 Tech forum and might have missed one of the single most informative threads ever put on the Corvette Forum. Most if not all of this information has been discussed before - but I don't remember ever seeing it all in one place at one time.
Do yourselves a favor - check out this thread by CF member Leaftye and put it somewhere for future reference.....all I can say is WOW
If anyone is interested I have taken all of the info from that thread and saved it in a more formatted version so that you can either download it or print it.

The original build sheet that your car was built from is stuff into the cross member behind the bumper. Sometimes, if your standing on the driver's side of the car with the hood up, you might be able to see it as a white piece of paper in one of the cross members.
But - there really is no way to get it out without destroying it or tearing half the front end off the car!
If you want one - order it from the Corvette Museum!
