I just got my first C5 in June and the only thing I have done so far is the airbox. What are some of the first Mods that everyone does?? Please include the price paid too...

Thanks

Spend about $3000 and get an LS6 intake $400, Long Tube Headers (LG, Kooks, FLP et al) $1500, cat back and X Pipe $700 and a Donaldson Blackwing $300 . This will probably give you about 50 HP after an LS1 Edit (Another $500). You'll be set for about 3 months, then you'll start researching Heads/Cam packages which will probably run you about another $4-5,000 installed. That package should be good for another 100HP. Several months after that you'll start investigating Nitrous or Twin turbos or some type of supercharger because the ricer down the street is pushing 500 front whp...etc. Understand where I'm going with this?

Magnaflow exhaust w/ x-pipe ($800), Halltech Stinger w/ Dave's Cold Air Mod ($200), A&A Frame Savers, Aluminum Pedals & Loyd's Floormats.

BTW, doesn't an '04 already have the LS6 intake?

Most everyone has listed performance mods. A great place to begin appearance mods is with SS rear lettering (<100) and an exhaust plate (50-150). Lowering it is also FREE.
