Well I made a huge jump from owning turbo imports to buying a corvette, and im loving it! I recently bought a 1999 red corvette c5, its auto and i dont intend to let that stop my plans for speed! I just wanted to say high to all the fellow corvette owners and everyone on the forum. Here are some pics of the car *Yes they are very crappy pics but if u live in chicago or surrounding suburbs, you'll know why i couldnt take the car outside almost 8 inches of snow already...* And here are some pics of my previous car....i miss it, but once i can drive the vette again, i think i can get over it.
thanks for the nice words..........i feel sooo welcome !!!! Yes the vr4 was very good to me, i also had a boosted integra gsr and a Supra, but it was time to try something different.... My goal is to have the vette in solid 11's and still a daily driver. I am deciding between the vararam and the blackwing for my first mod....dont kno which one i should get, any help would be great since this is my first domestic car. I have been researching a lot lately

Congrats on the Vette - I can certainly understand why you have it tucked nice and safe in the garage. Welcome to the forum - you can get tons of good information on the car and mods for it here.

As far as blackwing vs. vararam...I guess I went with the blackwing incase I get caught in a monsoon down here in FL, less chance to suck up water with the blackwing. But at speed the vararam is supposed to make more power...
