who made the lift that collapsed?? I tried the search thing here but it still sucks and they should give up trying to make it work b/c they will ever ever ever ever ever ever get it to work. been like for a long long long long time
uggg back to superior lifts and rotary as options.....ahhhhhhhhhhhhh hate this I like the lifetime warranty on the super, but rotary is only a year. I had rotary send me a info packet to go through. I like that rotary has alot of testing done to it. Ackkk will take my time.
The additional capacity, higher lifting height, and more clearance between posts is why I went with Autolifters. I have had it for about 6 months and it works great. Good construction and design IMO. They have a 6-8 week lead time however.
autolifters has been holding a solid 3rd place me for THe lead time is what has been "annoying" me about them.
Who knows where they will all fall when I finally light a fier under my **** and make a choice.

Go see both in person as I have done. It should be very obvious when you see them which one of these two is better constructed. I'm in Oregon so that probably doesn't help you.
Not a real good picture, but I've got my BendPak HD9 up 'n runnin. The HD9 allows you to move the runners farther apart if you need to for a larger vehicle. They are set at the normal/narrower setting in the picture. BendPak's HD9st is a narrower version if space is a factor.
Overall, I can't complain about the quality of the BendPak. Very, Very heavy duty. We had 4 people to lift the runners up on the cross members, and I'm glad all 4 of us were in pretty decent shape cuz those things are heavy.
Now all I need is some time to work on the car.

The construction looks like the revolution lift from Rotary that I have with everything enclosed and is constructed as commercial lifts are like the Rotary is. Also looks like it's probably the only hobbyist lift with pneumatic releases. Other comments is it's not certified and the Rotary outweighs it by ~600 lbs.

You are correct in that it has pneumatic releases. I believe it has the same certifications as the rotary, but I could be mistaken.
It is rated to lift one more ton than the rotary also.
Bendpak has been in business 35 years, and makes many commercial lifts, and it seems to be built like a tank. I'm happy with the purchase.
