Default Driving Naked!

Yeap! I feel like I'm driving naked or at least fully exposed.
I sent my Valentine 1 in for the latest upgrade and will be with out my radar detector for at least a week.
I’m having a difficult time driving slow and looking for speed limit signs. It always seams that I’m driving between 5-10mph over, and am being passed like I’m standing still.
Oh well I’ll tuff it out it’s only a week right?
Later,
Tim

I know what you mean. If I'm taking out the SUV for a VERY short trip, I don't bother transferring the V1 over. Not only do I feel naked, but unless I'm concentrating, I find that I forget to even bother to monitor my speed limit since I'm so used to being forewarned... Speedo?? We don't need no stinking speedo!! Just gimme my HUD cuz it looks cool!

I thought you were serious about the naked part.
I did see two girls this summer in a white 02 vert that might as well have been.
I have more material that makes up my shirt pocket than bothe of them had on.

Haven't had mine done yet, but unlike you I ALWAYS obey the speed laws.
I would never want to offend John Law or the babbling idiots here on the Ohio byways by exceeding the speed limits that they have established for increased revenue for the state.
85% of American highways are modeled after the Autobahn (Thanks President Ike) and can be traversed at the same rates of speed as the Autobahn .
Trouble is 99% of the American public who get behind the wheel should not pilot a vehicle faster than 45 mph.

Regards

Jim

Trainman-2,
I think your vision impediment might be closely related to the object in your avatar?

We're pulling for you to make it through this tough time. It can be hard to keep the car at the speed limit.

Driving without a radar detector anymore is like forgetting to wear my watch. I can get by without it but it's a pita. Even going with the flow of traffic you need it because the flow is usually over the limit.

I have one in each car.
The second will go out for updating when this one gets back.
Having a spare is a good idea!
Thanks,
Tim
