Ok....so I trek up to Oxnard to A & A to pick up my car today, in the middle of the biggest rain storm of the season here in SoCal. Everything is fine along the way......get up to A & A....everything is great. The car is done, Andy's cool......not a single complaint. Nothing but praise for Andy and A & A.

But.....the car now has LT headers and X-pipe, a Vararam, and 4.10's....big change from 100% stock except Borla Stingers. But it's raining. No.....actually it's pouring. Cats and freakin' dogs. I've had no chance to try it out. I am SO NEEDING to go for an all out run to see what the car does.....but nope, not a chance for at least 3 or 4 days because of the rain.

So anyways.....I get home, and there's noway I'm putting this filthy pig in my garage after that 125 mile trip home from A & A in the rain. So, like probably anybody here on the forum.....I procede to wash my car. Yes, in the rain..... . My neighbor comes out....looks at me, and just shakes his head...

So finally.....I put the car in the garage, and then dry it in the garage. I take a break to do some stuff.....and after an hour or two go back out to do the tires and play with it a bit more and..... .....MY FREAKIN ROTORS!!!!!! Totally rusted!!! I was so depressed at how they looked I didn't even bother with the tires. God that sucks....time to undertake an Evil-Twin's rotor detailing project now.....

Anyway....thanks for letting me rant....

After reading your post describing the rain, I saw your avatar "Sunny So Cal" and had to laugh a little bit...

Congrats on the mods...

 

I didn't even think of that....

I gotta admit though.....us SoCal guys can be quite the whiners and puzzies when it comes to rain.....

 

But at least it's not the white "S" word or Tsu--- word. I'll take rain over the other options.

My .02 ... go back to Andy and get some of these. I took this as my car rolled out of his shop.

 

I guess you have to wait for the sun to come out and go around the block to get those rotors cleaned up.

I know how you feel I got my mods done last week and have only got 1 good day in since. Ok laugh it up Snow Birds Im always rubbing in our nice weather. It's my turn in the barrel

 

Rotors seem to be the topic of the New Year so far.
