I like it!!! Looks great. I'd love to see what Chip and the fire flame guy could do to a C5.

Here's a red and black version for you. Sorry the transition isn't as smooth....my hand just isn't steady enough . This should give you an idea though.

Looks good! How about the Marlburo Maroon {mid-year color} over Quick Silver.

Randy,
Are you doing a body it at the same time? Two tone is not bad as long as it is done right. Not my taste, the only plus with doing this is your dong have to paint the bottom Jams or Rockers.

How about you keep the blending, but put the darker color on top, a la Mako Shark?

Now that would be hot!!

Grumpy, you didn't specify colors...did you mean the same Silver and Black treatment? I can't get a gloss black to come up in the version of photoshop that I'm using (maybe it's not the version, but the artist...but anyway). Here is kind of a MSG treatment done with a Quicksilver coupe. Where do you want the transition line. I put the transition kind of like the '78 pace car.

I was already contemplating the two tone on my MY vert.
Would you mind doing a yellow bottom with a black top half?
I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks!

I like the original scheme best, but think it would look better with more of a grey or charcoal top with the black sides and have a silver pinstripe over the paint line.

I just love two-tone paint. Chip Foose has not disappointed me yet.

Jon....I am having the entire car painted. The car is pretty much done excpet the paint is not on the same level as the rest. I have a guy in Georgia I am meeting with tomorrow to talk to him about it. How is your car coming along? I really like the orange you have been talking about and have considered using that myself but it just won't go with all the red I already have on the car.
