After some HP tuning, with a big thanks to Eric @ Backstreet Performance in Medina, OH and Watch22, here on the forum, they were able squeze out 341 rwhp and 359 rwt with a safe tune. Stuck my A/F's @ 12.8. Needless to say, I am very happy with those numbers for no more than what is done to the car. I will try to scan the dyno print out and get it up. What do you guys think?? Later.
Very respectable and I love tuning! It is such a beautiful thing!

Before you know it you will be at 400rwhp!

You're really close to 400 HP and are over 412 TQ at the crank - great numbers!

What is considered a 'safe' tune and why?

I am not at all qualified to talk about tuning, because, I truthfully do not know that much about it. In this case "safe" refers to the A/F ratio, which was set at 12.8. I was told we could get higher hp and torque, but the a/f's would be at an unsafe level. Maybe someone will chime in and explain this in better detail. T
Thanks for all the compliments fellas!!

As the old saying goes: lean is mean but too lean is new pistons. I agree a 13:1 or even 13.2:1 may make a little more power, but imo its not worth the extra heat and stress on the engine. 12.8:1= happy, safe tune.
