Default I'm Not Surprised...

I just installed blue LEDs inside and immediately felt more SOP torque when I drove it so I can believe stainless steel screens might provide another 5 hp

I cut the area out that these screens would cover, I do need to buy those screens, but I wanted BLACK. Anyone know of a place that has colored ones?

Speaking of horsepower gains ... and I'm serious here ... have you noticed how much better your car (any car, not just your Vette) seems to drive right after you've washed it and it's nice and clean?

You can get a free one by going to the Eckler site and asking for one. Just click on the link to the left. BTW, lots of the forum vendors have free ones - just ask. Mid-America, WCC, Zip, MTI, RK Sport come to mind. I'm sure there are others - those are just the ones I've received.

I is a common HP enhancer known to a certin segment of the high performance auto segment that another 5% more horsepower can be obtaianed from these screens IF they are painted YELLOW.

Default Ecklers Aerodynamic Divison

BREAK OUT THE ASPESTOS DRAWERS.
Doubt is the least i have to say about increase of horse power by adding Ecklers screens. Where is their wind tunnel located ?
Anything to make more money.
Other New Products include.

1. A 600 lb.concrete block attached with boat anchor chain to the console. (for emergency stopping in case of brake failure) simply throw it out the window.

2. Aerodynamic gloves.(wing shaped,to be used when cruse controll is engaged at 150 mph.arms extended out of both windows) Creates downward pressure. No further need for rear spoilers.

3. And last but not least. (Corvette hip boots. So you dont dirty your Ecklers floor mats (engraved of course) when you get in your Vette after reading this BOVINE EXCRAMENT !!

Clean car=no dirt=less friction=more HP...will not reflect on dyno!

I've calculated that, accoding to Eckler's catalog, and including my titanium Toranado I've added 236 horse power to the rear wheels WITHOUT having to crack the engine open. Now when I add STP and Dura Lub I expect to brake the 500 hp barrier.
Ever get the impression these people think we're stupid and just like to spend money for the sake of spending money ??

I've heard one can gain a tenth or two just by rolling up your windows in the 1/4 mile. That's got to be worth 4-5 HP! Best,
