I like painted with just a splash of chrome. Plan to add a little more chrome this summer. C5 XTC

WOW to all you who posted pics of your engines. Those are some of the nicest I have ever seen. Can't pick a favorite of the ones shown. The combinations are super (IceBerg) yet others are just as impressive. You all can be very proud.

A little chrome, polished stainless, polished aluminum, and some flames.

I like a combination of both. To much of anything is not good. It's having a combination of both in the right proportions so that one compliments the other without being over powering. My .02

Chrome wont get you home, but it will get you laid

Another vote for a combination of chrome (actually polished stainless) and painted.

Totally

Is it cuz they want to show they've plenty of "mula"?
But on serious note, a combination of chrome and paint looks best. Yet, some engines really do look way overdone! They looked choked so much of one or the other!

I read somewhere that chrome builds up engine heat, don't know if it's true or not. Definately like GBVetts pictures but not sure I'd want to spend the time necessary to keep it looking like that.
