Because Chrome Wins ?
What do you guys think, chrome engine covers or painted ?
I use to see only chrome under the hood, now the trend seems to be painted.
Any pics ?
Thanks

I prefer painted...chrome tends to become overdone at a certain point.

I also prefer the painted or Carbon fiber look!

I think a combination of both, chrome and paint works well

I think painted looks better under the hood than chrome.

I'm old school and like the chrome look, but I do agree it can be over done.

I decided to go with a combination of all 3, although these pictures don't do it justice. The FRCs, radiator cover, and battery and fuse box covers are all painted. Still intend to get the radiator cover and pulley cover in chrome. It's still not up to the standards of BAD 2004 or GB Vette. Both of those are SWEET!!!

Chrome looks great, as long as it is not overdone. I've seen some that chrome everything and it just looks gaudy. I went with the painted pieces since I can customize it in many ways.

You can never have enough money or chrome. However, some of the specialty paints today are more expensive than chrome.
