How many of you had to pull out the radiator to clean it?
My car has 78K on the clock so the condensor and radiator was caked with well you name it. Before pulling it out I tried blowing it out with air it got a bunch out probably a pound of dirt and other crap. But it still had dirt and grass stuck in it. So I pulled it out last night and used some aluminum mag wheel cleaner the etching kind of cleaner and it did a great job of getting out the dirt. I can now see threw the other side of the radiator and condensor. Its amazing the car was running in normal temp range with as much stuff stuck in it.
By the way that mag wheel cleaner also made the under side of the car look like new again thats some great stuff. Just be careful and not get it on the paint.
My 2001 has 38,000 miles on it and I've only seen the usual amount of leaves and pine needles, mostly at the top. But hey, you're in Texas - probably have some severe wind, dust and crud blowing around from time to time!
Good luck...Bill
I cleaned mine at 35k miles. Lots of crap in there. I didnt remove it thoguh. I loosened it up and moved it around as best I could while going at it with the garden hose.

I haven't seen the need to pull the radiator out yet, but I do look up in the intake area every time I clean my car and if there is debris in there, I take it out. Hopefully by doing that I won't have to mess with taking it all the way out for a long, long time.
