I will give you some trivia... That mug was 25 cents, back in the fifties and you needed to send "3" Ovaltine jar seals.. you had to tape a quarter to a piece of paper with your name and address, and the three seals in an envelope..

Well I had one, but my B'day is probably earlier than yours so I don't remember how I got it. But on the other hand I was a loyal watcher of Kukla, Fran and Ollie and have always and will ever be a Hopalong Cassidy boy....just saw his history on the Western Channel and it brougth back great memories......BOY THIS WAS A GREAT HIJACKING OF A THREAD....WHAT DID WE START WITH?????????????????

How true. Little known fact about my hero...Hoppy...When Kukla.et al started on TV in the early '50s, it was afternoon when kids got home from school. But there was about a half hour where all that was on the TV was the test pattern,,,you remember with the circles and indian in the middle. Bill Boyd convinced the TV network to play his movies, which he had sacrificed all his resources to buy the rights, they did and Hoppy was very Happy....OK signing off now gotta go watch reruns of Leave it to Beaver.
