Don't touch these things with a ten foot pole! Aftermarket warranties are Garbage!!! The might cover something once, or twice, if you're lucky. Aftermarket warranty companies come and go as fast as you can blink an eye, and there is nothing you can do. If you fork over $2K for a Warranty and the company goes under in a couple months, or year, you get NOTHING!!!!!
I don't think saving $100 or soemthing stupid like that is worth the risk, and Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't forsee GM going out of business anytime soon!
PM me If you guys need a GMPP....I can't post any info in the threads, but we can talk privately!
thanks.
Sam.
If factory warranty runs out and you decide to keep the car for a couple of year after that what other choice do you have ?
No they do not. Check www.warrantydirect.com I bought one of these for my 01 coupe just last June. That car had an expired warranty and I now have a 5yr/60k mile warranty that is transferrable to a private party for a small fee should I decide to sell it. I've used it once so far and there was no problem at alll.
Thanks I'll give them a call. I also heard of another good compay called 1 source auto warranty, both high marks with the California dept of Insurance.

Vetteship,
I'm glad to hera the good report about 1SourceAutoWarranty. Just purchased from them. Got a good price, but was a little concerned if it was a good company.
