Transmission work and Allignment

Transmission work and Allignment
I recently had new tires and an allignment on my '03 Z06 and now it is at the dealer for transmission problems. They had to remove the transmission and just about everything else on the rear of the car. Do I need to get a new allignment after the work is completed or are the settings uneffected? Would appreciate any advice on the subject.

I had the same situation happen to me and the dealership wouldn't align the car for free!
They said it does not effect the aligment?
I had it done anyway! Of course it was off!!
Be aware that the dealership won't do it as part of the repair.
They'll only do it if GM pays for it and they won't
