Default boiled rice

Finally took the Vette out for a nice weekend cruise, she had been under the cover for the last two and a half weeks.
Took my son to the beach, cruised PCH all the way to San Clemente, lotsa stares and a couple of waves.
Anyway driving home, a Honda ricer was having his radio thumping, you know what I mean, loud enough to shake your car. Well, the kid ends up behind me at a stop sign. Man that thumping was getting to me, so I turned off traction-control, took it to three grand and dumped the clutch, held it right there at five grand or so and began creeping across the intersection, left the loud ricer in a HUGE cloud of rubber. Man it was sooo funny seeing him come outa that cloud.

No one else was around so it felt ok.....

I told my kid "don't do this son", I'm testing my clutch.
I have an extra set of rims and new tires in the garage and I wanna put them on soon.

Save Da Wave

I dont know what its like where you are, but its a waste of ink to even write a loud stereo citation here. I swear half the judges at the court houses act like they are doing you a favor to show up for court and for something like this they would just say "turn your stereo down, dismissed".

It definitely is annoying when rice or anyone comes up beside you enough to rattle your car. I've got serious stereo in my Yukon (not into the thump, thump crap though) but always turn it down when I pull up to a light... So I understand.

Chevrolet needs to incorporate a sound seeking missle into the HUD. Every time the sensors hear the thump thump of that god awful crap, the HUD fires off the missles and walla, fried rice. That's an option I'd pay for. Way to smoke them Jeff.
