Default CCW wheels and rubbing

I'm looking to buy new CCW classic streets. I want to go 18's all around, ,but wider. My car is lowered 1". Anyone have experience with how wide I can go without rubbing issues? I imagine the tire make would have something to do with this too??

Yes the tires have something to do with the rubbing. Which tires do you want to get?

I run 18" on all corners. CCW street 18x10 f and 18x11.5 r with Mich PS 275/35 front 335/30 rear. I HAD a rubbing issue. No more the tires rubbed the inside of the rear wheel well out from taking high speed corners.

I also have a set of CCW track, 18x11f and 18x12 rear. To use these wheels I put longer axle lugs on. On the rear I also use a 3/8" spacer.

On the front I also have the DRM brake ducts and yes both sets do rub on extreem full lock turns, However, I dont trun that sharp so no rubbing.

Could you imagine I'd have any rubbing issues with 10" fronts shod with 265/35/18 and 11" rears shod with 295/35/18 PS2's? These tires appear to almost mimic the stock parameters across the board. But I'll gain handling (you would think) due to reduced sidewall flex as a result of the increased rim width.

I'm running 18x9.5 w/ 275's and 18x11 w/ 295's. It's perfect w/ no rubbing. I'm lowered 1"
