Default Random Tech. high flow CATS

Looking into purchasing a set for my 03 Z. I currently have Stainless Works LT headers and a Magnaflow x-pipe. What type of HP if any can I expect from this upgrade ? Do these CATS hold up in the elements as I have been told that they tend to rust/fall apart more quickly than the sotck CATS ? Would this upgrade throw any codes ? If I just get the CATS only will I need any other parts or can they just be swapped out with the stock CATS ? Thanks for the input......

my guess 2 to 3 rwhp with a dyntune. I know that may not sound like much, and it is not.

I choose to leave the stock cats on my exhuast set up, I did not think the cost, potential for not passing smog, the potential for smell and small inc. was worth the money. Also if you are still under warranty removing the stock cats could be an issue.

I'm not trying to be a nay sayer here, and have spent money on worthless mods myself, more times than I care to admit. I'm not saying they are worthless just to expensive to justify the small inc.

Dollar wise, I think spend it on a different mod, Just IMHO

you wouldn't have any problems with the switch. They are a good quality product.
But, there is not much to be gained by switching. I would say a max gain of 10 hp but, more realistically 5 hp. And for the money, I don't think its worth it. More so if you have to pay someone to install them.
