Default Leaky Sensors..

Picked up some chrome Z06 style rims today. Took them to the local Discount Tire shop for mounting. Got home and a few hours later, three of the wheels were low. Aired them up and could hear them leaking from the sensors. Anyone else have this problem on a rim change? Do they just need to be tightened or is their possibly bad gasgets? Will take them back to Discount in the morning.

Check the valve stem collars to see if they are lose using a wrench, if they are tight, than the "O" ring seal is borken or not installed.

Yeah, I ended up double posting about this cause my computer shutdown the first time and it looked like it did not post. Anyway, found the new gasgets that came with the rims in the little bags that the corvette stickers came in. Four baggies, four stickers, four gasgets. I guess they just reused the old gasgets.

Discount Tire is great. I got new GY D3's there and have never been treated so well at a tire place. I am sure they will correct this no charge.
