I am a newbie to Corvette Forum and am considering purchasing an extended warranty for my 2002 Coupe that is out of the manufacturer warranty. I am considering Warranty Direct. Any feedback on Warranty Direct and opinions on buying an extended warranty? Also, what about 1SourceAutoWarranty? Are these good warranty companies or is there a better one out there?

When I was shopping for an extended warranty, I compared both Warranty Direct and 1Source, including reading each of their contracts. I felt more comfortable with the language in the Warranty Direct contract. Plus Warranty Direct covers a few more items in the emissions warranty if you decide to go with that coverage and it is a bit cheaper.
I agree GMPP is the only way to go.

I delt with ext wro's for 12 years at a dealer.

I do not sell ext WRO but feel none is better than GMPP.

Feel free to IM me and I will give you my .02.

PS. I just bought an 04 vert with GMPP wro. It was approx 400-600 more then the other aftermarket companies, but well worth the price in my mind.

Just answered this on another thread. Warrenty gold took my cash and declared bankruptcy shortly after. Shelled out $1100 and lost every penny. Only buy through a dealer where you have some recourse. These guys online just disappear and you get left holding the bill when you least expect it. Warranty gold was highly reccomended on this forum. No more online warranty for me.
