Just think about how glad the older drivers were when the starter button was moved off the floor onto the dash, then cam the start when turning the key; how inovative.
And now you want to end the convience and put the button back on the dash, how quaint. In 5 more years we will be patitioning the makers to put it back on the floor. Gad; how backwards.
I'm having Mike Norris install an engine crank through my front plate cover so I can really look COOL as I crank it up to start the engine. He'll do a GP for $1865 if we get 20 signed up. Who's in ??

I haven't even read this thread and you guys are already killing me.
So.. Lupus in Fabula, and I am here!!
You summoned me?
Yes, I have an engine start button in place of my cigarette lighter. It's an aftermarket part that I bought for ~$50. It's a Honda S2000 engine start button clone (yes, more Rice )
It was very easy to install, just 3 wires. I can still use the key to start if I want to. It's usually covered but looks when I flip up the little door to start the car
I do not have one in my vette but have installed several. You need the button and I use a relay. Very simple...just send power to the starter wire. I have always wired them so the key still has to be inserted and turned to the run position.
