Can't confuse me. I am calling the dealer in the AM to set up a test drive. If the car checks out, and I'm sure it will as it is a Certified GM car, I will purchase as long as we can work it out. Only problem is I have to close on my new house before I pull the trigger. 3 more weeks. Hope it does not sell or they will let me put a "hold deposite" on it. Only has 9K miles on it and a few mods; white face guages, cat back, can't tell what kind it is but it has just 2 tips, large oval's.
When searching for a 2004 vert, I had spiral grey on the brain. Black also. The grey is a metallic paint, black isn't. However, black is beautiful. Almost bought a grey one, but one nagging thought persisted: it's a somewhat conservative color. So what'd I do, you ask? Bought a mag red with tan insides and tan roof! Truly the most brilliant color combo.
PS: I'm just writing these lines to confuse your choice even more! Good luck, and you can be assured of one thing: whatever the color, you'll love your Corvette!
I went though the same thing but I got a mag/red/Vert/black top/black inside, a better color combo!!! The gray is cool only in the sun, no sun and its a grey car/conservative.
My spiral gray in the sun has more sparkle then I have ever seen in a factory paint job; it doesn't show dirt or scratches either and it looks great with torch red interior.

If you want something different and stand out from the rest, this is the color to get! This color was discontinued in Apr 04. Of course I am bais because I own one however I have receive nothing but props! It is a show winner (place) everytime with torch red interior, which sets it out even more! There was only 200 torch red interior coupes built in 2003, which makes my combo even more rare!
Looked at black and really wanted it .Then I seen a , and 2004's are Machine Silver only year they were made I think only 3400 this is the least amount of vette's ever for one colour .Can't find the link but had it all vette colours 97 to 04 .Love mine .But may be you have a different colour I know there is another grey wish I could find that link.

Gray is my favorite -- didn't know about it until after I bought the pewter. I bought it from a friend who made me a great deal on it, so I woulda taken the pewter anyway. I'm hoping they do an MSG on the C6's in a couple years...
