For Sale C5 Torch Red Hood excellent condition, might deliver
I have a C5 hood in excellent condition. The current color is Torch Red and it is off a '98 C5. Will fit a '97 to '04, which I know because I replace it with one off a '04 C5.
No damage to hood points or edges. Does have the expected small paint chips for a hood of that age.
Asking $300 I will answer questions and send pictures to anyone interested. I will be driving from Colorado Springs CO to Cadiz KY in late Mar. or Apr.2014 and could bring it that far or meet along the way. Request at my PM: rickmendoza@comcast.net

Not sure what you mean. I'm in Colorado Springs, CO. I have an excellent TR hood that came off my '98. Just trying to make this hood available to someone who needs a good one to get their C5 back on the road.
You can look on ebay and most have damage, but want what I'm asking for this one.

Understand the distance. Some parts are large and folks don't want to hastle with shipping, when not within a reasonable distance for people to pick it up.
I spent a couple of months looking for a removable top for my C3 '68 roadster and found one in Huntington Beach CA. Shipping was over $400 for the $500 (without a headliner) top, so over Thanksgiving I took a road trip and picked it up. Even though I now have one, I found another one off a 74 C3 in Cadiz KY that has a headliner and is in great shape, so I bought it also and will be doing a roads trip in March to pick it up.
So I understand the distance issue. Plenty of market for my hood at that price, just not in Colorado. I'll keep the ad going in CF you just never know. Until it sells I'll just mount it on my garage wall as Wall Art and it will keep it out of the way damage.
