I replaced this pan only because I went to 2 piece pan in order to install Improved Racing baffles.
This item has been exposed to oil with higher than normal metals content, due to a failed crank bearing. With a thorough cleaning, it should be fine, but some buyers may not feel comfortable re-using it.
