What is pcm code P-0174?
I have had 100 trouble free miles on my 02 Z06 since putting on the vararam and the car is running great, and all of a sudden it just threw a check engine light with a pcm code of P0174. Is this a lean code? Can you code experts please let me know what code this is for and is it something to concerned about or not?
look to see if the airbridge (or anything in the intake system) has spread apart and is letting air in - where it shouldn't be.
And from others (using the search function):
Also, look for leaks between the MAF and throttle body.
the manual says if DTC P0174 is set along with DTC P0171 you should inspect the following:
vacuum hoses for splits, kinks and proper connections.
crankcase ventilation valve and/or system for leaks.
contaminated fuel.
pcm and sensor grounds are clean, tight and in the proper locations.
air induction system after maf sensor for vacuum leaks.
engine mechanical failure.
