Octane table question
How often does the computer check to see which table to use for proper octane? Just on start up or constant? Wondering for example it detects the low octane on start up and retards the timing etc, will it stay that way until the engine is restarted and it detects higher octane? Thanks

It chooses a table based on the amount of spark knock it sees, if you KR is intermittent it will have a low knock learn and stay in the HO table. Jeff
