Default Trouble Code Help

I just had a check engine light come up and scaned it. Two codes came up...P1416 and P0135. It seems like my O2 Sensor heater circut is malfunctioning in Bank 1 sensor 1. My question is, which o2 sensor is acting up? I have the service manuals for the car (1998 LS1) but can't be sure which sensor I'm dealing with. Standing in front of the car looking at it would it be front passenger side or drivers side sensor? Also any tips on checking the sensor before I replace?

Any help would be appreciated...I do have a scan tool for DIC codes so I can clear it but they come back after a few days.

Thanks-

Do you think both front O2 sensors are out with these displays.......Is their any test I can run on an o2 senser to check it out? If you could send me a PM with your phone I sure would like to call you if you know something about these.....hate to have to take it to a dealer and get screwed.........Thanks in advance for any help...
