I have a custom tune that I don't want to mess with that was done by one of the best. However I would like the capability of changing the parameters of tire size, or idle RPM, fan settings etc. without actually messing with the fuel/spark tables or anything else like that since the actual engine tune was done with hours of street driving and dyno time. Is there a unit out that that will upload my custom tune and let me tweak some of these parameters?

hptuners standard version for $499 would be a great choice for you you'd just read your stock file and then edit the parameters you'd like to temporarily change we've even got a simple demo for changing fan temp settings on vettes http://www.hptuners.com/help/demos/160%20Thermostat.swf and idle & tire size changes are a snap as well. And if you ever decide to delve in any further the option is always there.

First make sure your tuner did not lock the tune in your PCM. After that yes, either HP or EFI-Live. Save your current tune then change away! Don't like something you changed? Reload your original tune. I have EFI and changing things like fan on-off temps is no problem. And like stated above later if you decide to see what it runs like with a few more degrees of timing or whatever you can do that too. Download the EFI-Live demo and you can see for yourself how to change things.

I would look into EFILive's V1 interface for what you are trying to do. It is inexpensive and if you look you can find a good deal on it with a wideband. This package will allow you to do everything you need and more. The crew on EFILive forums are awsome and offer top notch support as well as I know of a few that will setup your tune for you for free. Like stated above, download the demo and see for yourself. You can't do that with HPT.

He did my tune, but I hate to bother him with a tire change or messing with the fan temps. I thought if there was a simple handheld that would allow me to play with these types of things I might pick it up. I know the new Z06 wheels and tires have shifted the speedo a bit.
