newb question
my car has a street tune, but there are a few minor things i would like to do myself, rear o2 delete, smog pump delete. also would like to start learning some basics. what software does everyone use and what price am i looking at to get into the game?

I use EFI Live and like it a lot. If I were you, I would figure out what people in your area have and stick with that. The Two choices are EFI Live and HP Tuners. I picked EFI Live and found out later most of my friends have HP Tuners.
Its best to have friends in the area who have simular tuning software so they can show you how to tune with yours and you can compare notes. Both packages are very good and about the same price. $800.
The learning curve for properly using either suite is STEEP! It isnt difficult but, understanding how to set it up correctly and understanding what each thing effects is mind boggling. Im really good figuring out C5 electrical issues so,,,,I barter tuning for electrical troubleshooting.
