Superchip question.
So, I'm looking to sell my Superchip Cortex programmer, but I need to know something first.
Does anybody know if the Cortex will work on another Corvette? The reason I ask is I tried tuning my dad's 02 Vert after I had tuned my 01 Z06... and I got an error message... the Cortex wouldn't read his car.
Don't want to rip somebody off and sell a locked programmer.

Check the ECM fuse---usually it's the cigarette lighter fuse--If it's blown you won't be able to read an ECM--If your programmer has to be returned to stock -do that 1st--don't know if it is required on that tuner before you can use it on another vehicle--However if it is required you should get a differnt error message--something on the line of "return to stock 1st" or ECM is locked to another VIN.#
