Default Advice on tune

I have a 97 corvette A4 with a Granatelli air intake and Borla Exhaust thinking about a tune. Can someone give me some details of what I should expect from a tune? Is it worth it with these mods? Kind of looking for driving details of the car and how it will change. I have it narrowed down to ECS or Chuck Cow any experiences with them would be appreciated. Thanks for any input.

With an auto you will notice a huge difference, the shifts are quicker, and the transition of shifts is much smoother. There are a lot of other items addressed like fan speeds, torque management, fuel cut off for the column lock, and the general aggressiveness of the tune. Here are some recent posts of happy ECS customers, feel free to ask away if you have any questions, and our std pricing is $149 which includes return shipping!

A tune will be well worth it.Expecially with that mass air meter.I highly doubt a mail order tune will work correctly with the Granetelli.

Do you mean a Granatelli cold air intake (twin flow) ? Slowhawk means a Granatelli MAF----Which he is correct by my experience as being very difficult to tune via mail order--

Besides that--abosolutely yes !! a tune even without mods on an A4 car will help-- Especially on the trans tuning----These C5 engines are pretty finely tuned stock-but you can generally get another 10-17 RWHP with a tune-and huge improvenents in quickness (ET) with trans tuning ( as well as trans life)

good... you don't want that aftermarket MAF... will mess up your tune... stick with the stocker...
