Default Help with base tune.

Hey guys, I recently installed a new cam, heads, headers, etc. and was needing a little help on a base tune. I have read quite a bit on this forum as well as the hp tuners website. I do have HP Tuners and a wideband so that is no problem. Specs on the cam and heads as follows, cam : comp xer lobe profile, 220/228 .581 .588 on a LSA of 116. The heads are PRC LS6 stage 2.5 heads from Texas-Speed and they have not been milled. The headers are LG Street Series. I have the "Master EFI Tuner" book as well. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

Thanks guys! I guess I just need to try to find some time to actually do some logging and tuning. School is already kicking my butt and it's only the third week....

Have you read much in that book? Its supposed to be a really good source of info. I'm waiting for the new EFILive version of that book to be released.

I purchased the tuning School home course. Very good out of the box tuning instructions and checklists. A little $$ but you can start tuning right away.

Can you just send a flash image if one has a tuning software? It seems kind of an overkill to mail the actual PCM back and forth...
