2000 EBCM Code c1255, Help
Here is my situation I have a 2000 Corvette J8 no active handling EBCM. I get a code C1255 after about 10 minutes of driving. After 10 minutes the ebcm more or less shuts down. It will pull a no comm on the on board diagnostics. After I let the car sit for the evening it be able to communicate with the EBCM and show C1255. But if I drive it then it will shut down. I have checked all grounds, pulled the ebcm out and checked all connections. I have also read all I could on the subject from other threads. It seems like the ECBM might be overheating and turn itself off. It looks like on the CPU in the EBCM there is what might be a temp switch (guessing). Anybody run into a similar situation?
