Have read lots of posts, still need some clarification. It is running crazy now, sometimes starts and runs about 2000 rpm in reduced power mode, no pedal input to speak off. Sometimes it starts and quit again right away.
P1120 code appears every time I clear it, dash has reduced power, traction controll, low tire lights.
I pulled the plugs off TP sensor, was oil wet from an incident where engine installer did not tighten the power steering line to the pump.
I cleaned well and dried it out and it, check voltages on pin seem ok and consistent, did same on throttle side.
Question, I can move the throttle butterfly easy with key off, key on it stays closed and I cannot move it manually, or with the pedal, is this normal? It is in reduced power mode right now.
Torx bolts have the anti theft pin, so cannot get it off with normal torx tool, is this a GM factory thing?
This already cost me 500 bucks at the expert shop, not sure if they had this code or not. This car's dyno run was 515, has a bunch of goodies and about 12.5 compression.
REP on most of the time, traction control, abs on dash too.
Driving me nuts, any comments would be appreciated, thanks. CK
Did the same post over there, no luck. Always seems when my cars have an issue, it never happened to any one else.
Looking for a local with a complete throttle body to test, Thanks CK.
